Having a goal in mind to make clean, pollution free, self reliant, healthy and prosperous nation by uplifting rural poor and improving the overall conditions of the villages and towns, in 1990 we started a private research institute called Yashowati Earthworm and Microbes Research institute and we have developed and commercialized an indigenous, cheap and easy technology called Earthworm Eco-Technology .
In this period of time we have been able to integrate the ancient wisdom with the techniques of the modern science and being in the consonance with nature, we have successfully established thousands of small and big Vermiculture and Vermicomposting projects to convert all biodegradable wastes into money by converting them into useful vermicasting based humus bio-fertilizer.
Our Clients range from small farmers, house holders to very big planters and tea gardens. All of them have benefited from this technology and are running their projects successfully and converting the locally available wastes into Vermicompost and the projects are serving as milch cows to them.
By 2010, we aim to provide Vermiculture and Vermicomposting projects to almost all the farmers and planters in India.
We have already established a big project at Jutlibari Tea Estate in north eastern India of 4000 tons per annum capacity and hope to convert it into 10000 ton capacity project. We have also established a big project at Yule Agro farm, Telipara, West Bengal, India.We have used this technology and products successfully for integrated sustainable farming and organic farming. We have done organic farming successfully by use of only vermicasting based humus bio-fertilizer produced by us by applying 5 tons per hectare and using no other fertilizer.
We have provided self-employment to thousands of rural unemployed youths and women and converted millions of tons of locally available bio-degradable waste into Vermicompost. We have also established an NGO called 'Dhan Apka' which is working for upliftment of rural poor and wasteland development and clean, pollution-free, healthy, self-reliant and prosperous nation
